Suzanne Noble: Sex in Q3, The Intimate Details

This week on 4-Quarter Lives, Avivah Wittenberg-Cox talks with Suzanne Noble, host of the podcast Sex Advice for Seniors and co-creator of Startup School for Seniors.

Suzanne has become a prominent voice on relationships for older adults through her podcast, TikTok and media appearances. She and Avivah discuss some of the key relationships and sexual issues older adults may face, from erectile dysfunction and vaginal atrophy to loss of libido and body confidence concerns. There may be shifts from spontaneous to more responsive arousal. They talk about the importance of communication, creativity and prioritising intimacy for maintaining healthy living and relationships, and the need for better education and resources for both individuals and medical professionals. Suzanne describes her background, how she came to this work and her current projects.

Suzanne Noble spent over 20 years working as an entertainment publicist for household names such as Led Zeppelin, The Who, Gladys Knight, and others, and for  launching Harry Potter on DVD. For six years, she was global PR and Marketing Director for the children's TV series LazyTown. Always passionate about jazz and blues, in 2018 she resumed her earlier singing career and performs jazz and 'dirty blues' in London's clubs and pubs. Following this, in 2020 she and Mark Elliott founded Startup School for Seniors to help and encourage individuals in their third quarter to turn their passions and life experiences into profitable businesses. Alongside this, her TikTok channel, Sex Advice for Seniors, has been featured in the UK's Metro, the Sun, Independent and further afield, such as Brazil and Poland.
